We installed the new bees this past weekend. They were picked up on Saturday. It was a little cool so I removed 3 frames and put the whole package in the hive. I removed the queen cage and put it between two frames towards the other side of the hive.
When I came back the next day, the bees had vacated the package and were getting busy in the hive. It’s been rainy and windy the last few days so I haven’t been able to check if the queen has been let out of the cage. We’ll check it on Friday and see what we’ve got.
